Singing is a birthright which we are all entitled to express

As choral facilitators we engage everyone in enjoyable, healthy and hearty singing.
As members of the Natural Voice Practitioners Network we believe that almost everyone can learn to sing given good facilitation, a gentle environment and a wish to do so.

We presently run the following adult singing groups in the South Lakes area of Cumbria. They vary in size, ability and geography but are all run on similar principles. We teach all material by ear - with a method of hand gestures and call and response learning, we sing songs from around the world. We offer a safe, fun environment in which to enjoy singing.

Sing Your Heart Out – an open access ‘drop in’ singing group held on Wednesday nights in Barrow-in-Furness leading to Show & Tell performances

The Sing Your Heart Out Choir

Tongue Tribe – an independent performance choir who rehearse in Ings near Staveley

Tongue Tribe performing at Ings Chuch

Singing for the Brain - a Kendal based singing group for those diagnosed with dementia.

'My spirit soars when I sing. I love the atmosphere within the group. We have such fun with the conductress'
