Aldingham Church Charity Reunion Thingymajiggy

Every penny of the £3 you donate on entry goes toward the KINAMBA COMMUNITY PROJECT - a nursery and community based project set up in Kigali city, Rwanda by Meg Fletcher (retired headteacher from Vickerstown school).
Young children from the very poorest families are given a basic education so that they can move on to Primary and Secondary schools later in life. The school provides teaching and equipment and each child needs to be provided with a uniform, shoes and often food as well. Adults are being trained by the project in practical skills so they can make garments, baskets, jewellery, cards etc which are then sold to earn money for themselves and any profit that can be made goes into the feeding program for the children.

We invite anyone that we have sung with to come along for an evening of simple songs in this beautiful church on the coast road between Barrow and Ulverston.
This is not a performance, it is not religious and it is not open to the public.... it is an opportunity to enjoy friendship, singing and sharing the goodness we have in a way that directly benefits others. Last year, the £188.20 we raised bought a new roof for the lady who runs this school in Rwanda.
