Choral Work |
Singing is a birthright which we are all entitled to express |
|
As choral facilitators we teach all material by ear. We use songs from around the world as well as our own compositions and offer a safe, fun environment in which to enjoy singing. We are members of the Natural Voice Practitioners Network. |

Tongue Tribe |
||
Tongue Tribe was born from a commission to lead a singing project for the Staveley Carnival 2008. Following a thoroughly enjoyable 8 week process leading to 3 fantastic public performances we were asked to continue facilitating this group by the participants themselves. Together we are laying foundations for stretching participants as well as challenging ourselves as facilitators. Tongue Tribe is a “seriously fun” performance group exploring and gathering its own unique style of creative expression and entertainment. Tongue Tribe runs over 12 week seasons.
you can express your interest to sign up for the next season by emailing us here or calling Ali on 07812 155104. Tongue Tribe meet in Ings near Staveley on a Thursday night.

Ali runs this Tuesday night open access adult singing group during school term times at The Forum 28 in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. Anyone over 18 is welcome to come along at any time to sing with a 50 strong choir for the price of just £4 with concessions available. We begin promptly at 7pm and sing till 9pm with a short break in the middle. We generally give a “show and tell” performance to friends and family at the end of each season. This performance is by no means compulsory but highly advisable for the sheer joy of it. For further information please call Ali on 07812 155104 |
